Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

TODO: Legal entity name, TODO: Registered address, runs TikFactory and is responsible for your personal data ("we"). For any privacy question or request, write to TODO@example.com.

2. What we collect

• Account: your email address, your name if your sign-in method shares it, and an account ID. We never see your password.
• Orders: the settings you choose, the plot text you write, the story ideas you get, and the scripts, videos and post texts we make for you.
• Credits: your balance and its history: purchases, orders, refunds.
• Payments: from Polar we receive what you bought, the amount, the date and the payment status. We do not receive your full card details.
• Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and server logs with IP address, browser and time of requests.
• Messages you send to our support.

3. Why we use it

• To run your account and make and deliver the videos you order (performance of our contract with you).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, such as farming free ideas with many accounts (our legitimate interest).
• To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
• To answer your messages and tell you about important changes to the service.

We do not sell your data, do not show ads and do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

4. Who processes it for us

• WorkOS handles sign-in and sign-up.
• Polar processes payments as the merchant of record. Polar handles your payment and tax data under its own privacy policy.
• AI providers generate the stories, art, voices, sound and music. They receive your story settings, your plot text and the scripts, not your email address.
• Hosting and storage providers run our servers, render the videos and store the files.
• Google Fonts serves the fonts of this website, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Cookies

We use one necessary cookie, set when you sign in, to keep your session. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

6. How long we keep it

• Account, orders and videos: while your account is open. You can ask us to delete videos earlier.
• After you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment and tax records.
• Server logs: a short time, for security and troubleshooting.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to or restrict how we use it. Write toTODO@example.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children

TikFactory is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections, limit who can access data, and share video files only through signed links in your account.

10. Changes

We will post updates to this policy here with the new effective date, and tell you by email about important changes.
